passed.The population is older that used to frequent these bars, and
the ones with the money are the young workers, who live at home, make
18+ per hour, drive new cars, and have no responsibility. They only
want to hear that repetitive beat thing, and scope the meat.Or shitty

The Canadian Federal Government has nothing to do with it, provincial and city governments are passing these laws. What city are you in and how long ago was the law passed? I'm in Vancouver and after this being in place almost eight years it's working just fine here...September actually saw some new more stringent laws take effect that further ban smoking in bus shelters, on restaurant patios and within 6 metres of a door, window or air intake of any public building...and no one is complaining. Smoking is a nasty, dangerous thing to do to yerself and utterly unreasonable to impose on others. Anyone bitching about banning it is being pretty damned short sighted.

Anybody bitching about it is pretty much shouted down before they
are allowed to get to any actual facts. The studies underlying
this are a rank crock of defecation, and allowing this kind
of political sleight-of-hand is appalling.

But don't let that bother you none. If the smoke was such a problem - *WHY DID YOU GO IN THE FIRST PLACE????*.
