the two week notice cancellation clause so i'm screwed. Next time I
contract a NYE gig i'll remove the cancellation part. I doubt i'll be
able to book another NYE gig this late. So hows this worked in other
states, do the bars eventually make a comeback or is it all doom & gloom
?

Sorry, they won't recover.... Our Govt. over here in Canada, want us
sober and smoke-free...for the rest of our miserable lives. I dont
know and understand WHY these dorks ran this non smoking thing
through. How many of these do-gooders actually GO to a bar?
None...stupid law.
Bars over here haven't been able to recover since that law was
passed.The population is older that used to frequent these bars, and
the ones with the money are the young workers, who live at home, make
18+ per hour, drive new cars, and have no responsibility. They only
want to hear that repetitive beat thing, and scope the meat.Or shitty
repetitive rap.Once again, just my 2 c.
