Hi All,
As some of you know, my daughter is an up and coming bassist in her own
right (puts me to shame when it comes to the URB).
For her band class she's wanting to write a biography and report on a
female jazz bassist (URB is preferred).
We couldn't find anyone in our Google searches last night so I thought I'd
ask here for some additional info. Just a few names to point her in the
right direction would be great.
TIA
Steve
I can't remember her name, and I don't have the time to search
www.bassplayer.com for back articles, but six or ten months ago there
was an article in Bassplayer about a woman from Memphis who plays
upright. Rock or pop, I think.
