Yes, that's all true, Jon, but it's just more of what I said. I think
it's obvious that one's perception of sound "transparency" results from
the entire cognitive process, and is individual to the listener --
that's the point.

That is the problem. Transparency is really nothing more or less
than accurate reproduction - and that is more than measurable, and
depends not at all on the individual listener.
