Go to Musician's Friend and look at Berhinger DIs. They have quite a
few models in the $20-30 range. My favorite is the passive unit.
Cheap, reliable, doesn't need batteries or phantom power. I presume
in this price range tone is not an issue! :) You can find similar
units cheaper if you poke around. I think Sam Ash had a store brand
unit like this that was pretty cheap.
