Hey all,I hate asking the obvious, because it can be misconstrued, specially since I didn't do it in my first answer.... but.. your bass runs to the in jack and the out goes to the amp, and you're not using the tuner out right? SOmetimes it's the simplest things...
Just got and tried an ernie ball VP jr 6180. I am using to change
from pizz to arco for a double bass. It is the only thing between me
and my acoustic image amp.
When I run thru the volume pedal my sound becomes softer and generally
is lacking in the great tone I get by just directly into the amp. I
bought the 6180 because I assumed the underwood pickup I am using is
passive..there is no battery.
Does anyone know what is up? I was expecting no color to the sound
and no change in output.
BTW: tuning up the amp does not fix the problem, I just get a louder
crappy sound>
Your thoughts?
