in a joint, however most Docs I know feel it's only after the 3rd shot where
the risks out weigh the benefits. One or two, if they show some improvement
is no biggie. It's also part diagnostic. If there is no relief, there's
less chance of it being a soft tissue thingy, or something such. As far as
over use, post injection, that's an error in patient education.
