i listened to jaco yesterday and i must say i'm shocked! he drifts
miles off the beat every time he plays an octave, 5th or improvised
run. that's what beginners do. same thing with jeff berlin.
talk about a casual attitude towards timing?? it's not swing a la
oscar peterson or coleman hawkins either, it's OFF.
