What do you guys think about bad mouthing yourself on stage? My girlfriend
says that it is unprofessional.
Never apologise before a song, never say stuff like "We've only wrote
this last week, so bare with us!".
If in doubt, say less.
Joklng and telling anecdotes on stage can be great, but make sure they
are short, funny and have a point. The audience doesn't want to know
you wrote the song after joe and bob came round for dinner and you drank
some beer unless the song is about the actual events arising from said
dinner and beer drinking.
If someone has made a really bad mistake, *laugh and smile* like you're
great buddies.
