Stoopid question #1: Bass amp for keys?

I've been keeping my eyes open for an amp for the missus' keyboard,
which is currently played at home with barely adequate built-in
speakers, but might someday go onstage with her. Any reason *not* to
use a bass combo? I know many keyboard amps have multiple inputs (but
four? really?) to, Idunno, add vocals or something. But if we just
want to amplify her 'board, why not with a 100-200W, 112 or 210 bass
amp? It's just that they turn up a lot more on CL, so it's easier to
get a good deal on one. Input impedance? Frequency range/response?
Stoopidly yours,
