Oh, yeah. Solo artists period have a hard time adjusting to playing with
others. Besides the parts thing, they usually have a problem playing in
strict time (i.e. with a drummer). Sometimes they get over it, a lot of
times they don't.

Yeh, the timing is the other annoying part. For a while I had a gig backing
up a guitarist/singer. It took a little time to catch on to his, ahem,
nuances.
