Silly me, sigh,

I did not really fully represent the facts of the matter, so allow me
to more accurately describe the specs on my cabs:

G-K 410 (two cabs)......800 watts power handling each, 8 Ohms

Behringer 1x15 (two cabs)......600 watts each, 8 Ohms

Behringer 410 (two cabs).....1,200 watts each, 4 Ohms

Those six cabs are split into two groups of three cabs per channel on
the EP2500. So that's two 410's plus a 1x15 per side, at 1,200 watts
into 2 Ohms per channel.

Earlier, I did not dare to turn the power amp up all the way; I
thought that would be a no-no, but now I understand a power amp is
built to be run flat-out. My presumption here is that 1,200 watts,
divided up between the three cabs, (per channel), will not be too much
power per speaker cab.

When I do hook up this rig in the backyard, after alerting the
neighbors, the cops and the press, I will turn the sucker up and find
out if it is that much louder than the GK rig!

There is actually a good question in there as to how the power is
distributed. With cabinets of equal resistance - so (2) 8ohm cabs each
will get 50% of the total. The question that comes to mind with your
setup - 8+8+4 - does the 4ohm cabinet then take 50%, with the 8's taking 25%
each then?

I think I would add anybody monitoring seismic activity to your list of
notifications also.

....and - I hope your band employs a few roadies..... 'cuz damn. ;)
