Anybody have an suggestions for what to use to reattach the carpet to my
speaker cabinets (wood)? It's coming loose. I live in Phoenix, so it gets
hot out here. I can't say that the cabinet won't sit in the back of the
station wagon all day in the summer, so I'll need something that can
handle 140+ degrees Fahrenheit. I'm betting the heat is what is causing
the problem in the first place.
If it all possible, I would like this to turn into a thread that discusses
the minute differences in about a hundred different resins/glues/epoxies.
:-)
The best thing I've found is spray on automotive trim adhesive, since cars
get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter, it is designed to
hold well at both temperature extremes and in outside environments. It's
easy to apply and it bonds quickly and it's moisture proof.
