So in other words, they're just like every other cable out there.
And why are you resoldering them? They offer a no hassle exchange
guarantee - at least they used to.

theirgauge insulated wire, quality connectors, and epoxy the end connections;
plus they offer a guarantee. That's about all that is truthful about
marketing strategy.
All that's true, but -- Monster Cable is the only brand of cable on
which I've ever had to re-solder the connections, multiple times. No
other brand has ever failed in the solder connections for me. The one
and only thing I can say I really like about them is that the plug
barrels fit very snugly in the jacks, there's no play -- and on this
point, there are those who criticize Monster Cable because they say that
those plugs wear out jacks faster than other brands.
