Hey I've got the OPPOSITE food market story. I go to local Kroger and
get a few things. Not a cart full but not just one or two either. Get
to check out lane it's all jammed up. I get to this cute Asian girl.
"Computer is down", she said, "but I check you out, OK?" OK. She
starts going through my stuff at scanner speed ADDING IT UP IN HER
HEAD!!!! Got the right answer too, because I had already added it up
before I headed for check out! I'm standing there with my mouth open.
"What's the matter?" she asked. "You added that up in your HEAD!" I
opined. "So?" she said, looking at me as if to say, "can't everyone?"
and what in hell was I ever amazed at? I walked out of the store
shaking my head. No doubt in MY mind which race is due to take over
the world!
