Can't you adjust the output level of each patch?

Your point is well-taken, but I have observed that the unit is not
consistent in it's power ouput level, from patch-to-patch. In other
words, on one patch, the power is plenty strong, but on the next
patch, even at full gain, full volume and full master volume, the
output level is not nearly as strong, (stunted, actually,) as the
earlier patch.

I'm trying to figure out what settings, hidden or obvious, would cause
such a difference in power output......

Have you got the compressor on in some patches and off in others?

But really, all you have to do is what the previous poster said, which is
common to any multiFX: adjust the output to be the same in all patches.

I have the V-Amp2, and some amp models are louder... but when I make my own
patches I make sure the volume is similar in all of them. I don't see what
the problem is, quite frankly... It's a very simple unit to work (not
wanting to sound condescending or anything! :-) I really am just surprised
and curious at what you perceive to be the problem... sound is not so easy
to describe in words! :-)

any chance you can quick record and post an mp3 of the issue?
