Yeah well giving birth is a pain as well but you ( hmm they -wifes)
get over it when its delivered! We had a blast and it was worth it ! &
we did manage to round up a few roadies now and then ( it was the 70's
and groopies were always a possibilitie - so they would haul gear &
hang with the band hoping for stragelers !! hahaha -
At one point ( measurements taken ahead of time) I had to saw part of
my bass cabinet off and make provisions to be able to bolt it back
together when we got through a hall way.
Another time we had ropes and pulleys, and layed carpet on the ground
and dragged it up a hill side ( stairway was to windy and small).
Took the organ up a fire escape - only to learn afterwards there was a
freight elevator.duhhh .. Ed S.
