I am starting to feel sorry for this person but I also find the frequency
and his attempt at creativity of his ad's amusing. He has listed this bass
I
can't count how many times. I'm not sure how he is getting away with
posting
so often because Craigslist has a 45 day term in my area. He put's this
thing up in a different way almost every week. It started quite expensive.
I
forgot his first price, but he has changed his "pitch phrase" every time.
It was a: "Great Graduation present", "Summer deal", "4th of July
Special",
"End of Summer Sale", "Fall Special", Perfect for Halloween", "Reduced
for the Holidays",
"Killer Christmas deal", "Reduced for Christmas special","Reduced for this
week only" (that was my favorite). "Start The New Year with a new bass",
"Valentines Day present for your sweetheart OR you", "End of Winter sale"
on and on. Yesterday it was "A beautiful Red Guitar" Today it's "A
beautiful
"Red" bass guitar". At least he remember what it is. I see he added "no
longer made" I bet tomorrow it's going to be a "Rare collectors item".
His headlines seem so sophomoric, I wonder if he thinks they are really
going to make somebody interested on that count. It has become sort of a
morbid thrill for me to check Craigslist everyday to see what new tag line
he has come up with.
He has held onto the $240 price for a couple of months now so. Actually I
like the bass and it's a good price, just have no use for it.
If this seller is on this NG, sorry dude but it is really starting to get
so funny I had to let it out.

Hey, speaking of B.C. Rich, didn't they used to make some decent guitars? I
mean back in the '70s or so. I just seem to remember some nice strat knock
offs. Now all I see from them is their wonderful "Warlock" stuff at cheap
prices. Who buys that crap. What happened to the B.C.Rich I remeber? Or is
my memory playing tricks on me and they've always been goofy instruments?

In the 70's and 80's they built some fairly stunning looking
instruments and were a bit pricey. I never got to play one but they
certainly appeared to be of a hugh standard and some fairly prominent
players (I remember Craig Chaquico[sp?]) used to play them.
