Yes, it's finally happened. The day of Spinal Tap reckoning has come.
The church I play at is doing some huge, involved Passion Play with
puppets,
for the kids. We're the opener. All our gear has been crammed into a tiny
little corner to make way for the puppet stage.
Not sure if I should feel honored or horribly depressed.
I guess the only thing left to do is perform my rock opera, "Saucy Jack",
with the London Philharmonic Orchestra...
Wanna trade gigs? On the 17th, I'm playing at a club where the owner likes
to get a buzz on and dance on a rotating bar stool about 3 feet from the
stage, looking very dangerous about 15 times per minute. He hasn't crashed
yet, but still.... Nice guy, though. Pays without a whimper, even if
there's not much of a crowd.
