Hi all,
Since I'm among you bass bretheren, I feel I can share my thoughts with
you...
Just another observation. A band here in Phoenix is looking for a bass
player. They want to practice twice per week. They have 10 songs. They have
played out a couple times, and from what I can tell they were free gigs on a
multiple band bill.
I actually like the music. It's not too complicated. But I can't see
practicing twice per week for 10 freaking songs. To be honest I'd be
disappointed in myself if I didn't know all ten songs by the end of the
second rehearsal. I just don't get it.
