Anyone have any info on the neck through Spector basses made in the
Czech Republic? It's a kinda cherry to black burst finish, 5 string, no
case. Played really good, needs a good cleaning and a set of strings.
Maybe a few marks on it but most of it looked like they could be buffed
out etc.. What are they going for etc..?
I've got a four string. I've seen them go used for about $1,000 to
$1,200. Sometimes people replace the preamp with an EMG system that
offers more control (concentric pots for bass/treble and mid/sweep plus
pickup balance and overal volume).
I love my Spector. It's a joy to play.
This bass already comes with EMG's and gold schaller tuners. Are 5 strings
worth more or less used than the 4 string's?
It comes with the EMG pickups, but not the EMG preamp he was talking about.
It comes with a generic preamp.
