Since I now have a house, and two rooms available for music gear, I figured I'd try an acoustic set of drums. This way, I can get a better feel for the real deal... ya' dig?I find being a drummer and a bassist to be VERY rewarding (think of the Citi Premier Pass Credit Card guy). It helps me with my timing and also with figuring out some of the more obscure, syncopated rhythms I've come across in transcribing stuff. The only problem is that I'm between houses right now and I don't have room for my drum set, so a friend is "storing" it for me. Anyway, I haven't played it since Nov. 4th.
Oh, it's my first real time E-baying too. The drumbs are 5 mi. north of work, so saving on shipping as well.
Not as extensive as my Roland session kit, but a good starter set (in my opinion).
Hope I can get them tomorrow. Can't wait to yank the poly-fill out of the shells. :-)
