Oh, I forgot to ask: How am I being "stubborn"? Joe and Jim are the ones
creating all the static.

I deal with musicians, clubs, and agents every day in a variety of contexts.
I'm simply stating that the music world does not work the way Joe/Jim would
like it to. If they find like minded souls, great; but know that they will
be the exception to the rule. That's all.

....Or is this one of those AGB passive-aggressive "Let's say everybody's
wrong; now please stop arguing so we can go back to talking about nickel
plated strings" entreaties?

Either way, I've said what I have to say regarding this. I'm done.

AFAIK, Jim has not found a teacher, and Joe has not found a guitarist. Think
there's a connection?...
