For the record, some of his insights are off the beaten path and good information deserving of wider recognition. His notes on the merits of the five string for example.
I do not want this to become a dump-on-Benj-fest. I may often disagree with him, but there is no really good reason to go to personal attacks.

Corey, I'm beginning to doubt that he even plays bass in a band -- in fact, I'm doubting whether he even plays the bass. So much of what he writes just doesn't match up with real-life experience. The one thing that matches is his fixation on EQ and effects with being a basement player. That's a perfect match.
