WTF? That's bizarre. So how exactly do you split a mono signal into two
"mono" channels with only a Y adapter? I'm guessing your source would have
to be pretty hot to begin with.

This is very odd. I've set up dozens of Crown powered rigs in my day, and
I've never seen anything remotely like that.
