I also built a flat dolly that I use all the time. 2'x 3' 3/4"
plywood, 4" Penn casters, a square of rubber backed carpeting flipped
upside down. With a ratcheting strap holding it all together, I can
trundle the whole 410 cab, 6 space rack rig plus the bass case and
occasionally mixer head almost anywhere in this current day of
mandatory wheel chair access.
A lot of gigs , I just roll the whole deal right out on stage, and
never take it off the dolly.
You have to keep an eye on something like that , because it rolls real
nice. I've got a story about barely avoiding a meeting between my rig
and a Lexus ...
