I guess... I pretty much got the scale/chord/song connection after the first
couple months of playing bass, but that's me. I also started by improvising
right off the bat, so that may have something to do with my outlook.

Once I realized that Crazy Train was an F# minor scale and an A major scale,
and that they were both the same thing, the lightbulb went on.
