Shut down Thunderbird. In Windows Explorer, navigate to:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\en6mynsl.default\Mail\Local Folders
In that folder, delete every single file that has a ".msf" extension. There should be one for each folder (i.e., inbox.msf, drafts.msf, etc.).
so which version of winblows does this apply to? My XP has no .msf files and the location; C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\en6mynsl.default\Mail\Local Folders doesn't exist... on the other hand my TBird runs fine. Firefox takes forever to start though. I hate windows and want an iBook.
hmm I found em, silly winderz couldn't go figure.. In XP they are on a longer directory tree. If anyone needs the path I can post it tomorrow. Night all.
I'm sure it's C:\Documents & Settings\(Login Name)\Application Data.....etc. etc. where (Login Name) is whatever username you use to log into Windows. I don't use Thunderbird, but that's where program data goes in XP.
