There's this story of a medical doctor in Ontario who treated many patients
who had been "written off" by other MD's but by using natural methods but
that were not accepted by the Ontario Physicians College. His treatments
were so effective in saving many lives that he attracted the attention of
and was taken to court by the OPC. He lost, based on the fact that his
methods were not accredited by the OPC. Never mind the lives he saved. Too
bad I don't remembrer the name of the doc but it is a true story.
My point is that the medical establishment want to protect us so much that
they are telling us to forget natural medecine and to be sick and on drugs
as early and as late in our lives as possible.
The pharmaceutical companies have lobbied and forced some countries to adopt
CODEC, a set of rules that require natural product companies to test their
product for safety, which costs millions which force them out of business.
But, hey, it's ok, they are there to protect the public, aren't they!
Treating the symptoms with drugs instead of helping the body heal itself is
more important.
The truth is thousands of people DO die because of prescription drugs. The
number of people who die from taking natural supplements is so small it
isn't even worth mentioning.
Er, and what has creationism got to do with this?
