Nah, I had noted your hobby, and I once said to you I envied the dark
skies you have access to in Canada... I content my self with an 8"
Newtonian and a 70mm refractor.

I'm actually in western metro Milwaukee, where we don't get skies any darker than yours. A month ago, I was 'way up north for a few days, where the skies really are dark -- but didn't have room to haul my big telescope along. Still, scanning through the Milky Way with good binoculars in a truly dark sky is an awesome thing.


Tomorrow evening, just after sunset, Venus and Jupiter are going to be only a few degrees apart. Should be a nice show.
