Re: Polytone Mini Brute III

Todd,

"Guaranteed not to be DOA" is a standard eBay clause, has been for years. I
certainly didn't invent it, but I put it in all my used gear auctions.

This amp is a used item, out of warranty. Hell, depending on the week,
Polytone may or may not even be in business. You know as well as I do that
any electrical component (of which there are hundreds in any amp) could fail
at any moment, making these transactions risky to begin with.

If it's broken when you get it, I'll take it back. If it works, congrats on
your new amp.

And as I said in the thread, this helps to weed out those who: Don't like
the sound/style/color, take it to a gig (that I have no control over) and
damage it, Get caught by their wife buying "toys", etc.

Not my problem. If you want returns and warranties, buy it new from
Musicians Friend. I'm not dealing with that crap on a used amp, period.

Having said all that, I also try to go "over the top" in my description so
people know EXACTLY what they are buying, simply because they can't return
it.

And I think my feedback speaks for itself.

PS: I still don't understand the hullabaloo. If you don't like my terms; if
you don't like my answer to your question, then DON'T BID ON MY AUCTION. The
free market at its best.
