As they did Dred Scott v Sandford.

"Heller" makes sense. "Dred Scott" didn't.

Neither did "Citizens United", which pertains to the subject at hand.

Sorry, the TR quote caused me to momentarily lose consciousness. When
he was stupid, he was *BIG*, gaping-maw stupid. I am an admirer, but
he kept hubris like some people keep dogs...

CU ain't that hard to understand, either. And I'm repeatedly on record
as showing that constraint on campaign contributions doesn't actually
solve any real problems. See Chris Dodd as lead for SOPA? He's capable
of much more damage outside than he was in the Senate ( and he did much
damage there...)

As a public choice problem, "K-street as an exit strategy from the
Arena" is demonstrably more difficult than campaign money. Not
that it matters; the shibboleth that politicians are "bought"
persists, probably because of that scene in "The Godfather"....
