It took awhile to get the damn chassis out of the cabinet
The screws were so rotten that I had to drill out the screws
using a 1/16 drill with care not to do any damage.
( Felt like Lord Carnarvon opening that up an old tomb )

After I replaced the crumbling, rotten AC cord, I found the 5y3 was
bad so I temporary used a 5U4 (with new filter caps) and gradually brought it up to 100v .
The volume is weak ., so I hope a new 6v6 will cure that.
I hope when I tell the owner it will cost around $50 in parts and a couple more in labor, he will be convinced he doesn't want it ;) .
