What's interesting to me is that the actual margin by which the proposal lost was much larger than the polls leading up to the election indicated. Possibly an indication that the good women of Mississippi don't buy into this crap any more than those in Colorado did, although they're unwilling to say as much publicly?
It's an old story, people gain a little courage in the privacy of the voting booth.
