Still waiting for the hard evidence. Not the computer models.

You're going to sidestep whatever is offered, it won't matter if
agreement in the scientific community reaches 99.9%, so at some point
scientists and policy makers just have to realize that some people will
always believe the earth if flat and proceed without them.

The majority of scientists used to agree that the earth was flat.

Hard evidence proved otherwise.

Consensus proves nothing.

Hard evidence is what matters.

You doctor says your bloodwork
indicates some risk factors
for heart disease, and you
should alter your diet and add
more exercise to your daily
routine to offset that risk.
You say you have no symptoms
and ask if there's "hard
evidence" of actual cardiac or
vascular disease, and he says,
"Not yet -- and if you make
those lifestyle changes now,
perhaps not ever."

What do you do, heed the
doctor's advice (which has
considerable benefit even
without that purported risk of
heart disease -- and no
significant down side) or do
you continue gobbling fast
food and spending as much time
as possible gazing at your flat
screen from that comfy recliner
because there's been no "hard
evidence" presented?
