Don't forget, there's going to be both a one-time and a recurring force for

Good point. It's UK amp 101:
Landing a Vox AC30 on US soil was great for the
east coast. Landing a China amp today arrives
on the WEST coast, making land shipping cheaper.
A few US companies set up 'mid USA' points, Sunn
for one. There was a time Sunn was made in the
mid-west. Not for long. But shipping wood and
speaker dead pounds from 'nyc' to the west,
or stuff from Portland to reach Boston.
Marshalls shipped from NY to LA cost more then
shipping China whatever from LA 2 Boston.
There is a well known VOX online store that has
come to terms with Korg to make old VOX cabs
and heads and even stands.. Look here:

I've done business with those folks a few times, they have some good support for old Rickenbacker and Gretsch guitars, of which I have a few :-)
Those stand for AC30s caught my eye, I may just have to order one of those for mine.
