What can I do if I would like to use a stomp box with a piezo pickup,

In in this case I think I can?t go directly into a mic mixer and have
to use a DI-Box between the stomp box and the mic mixer? Is that
right?
It says it's preamped... you can run it into just about
any 1/4" input, like a guitar amp or a keyboard input
on a mixer. If you do run it into an XLR, you'd need
to DI it first, yeah.
Can I use a mini mixer instead of the setup mentioned above? I.e.
something like this: <

That mixer shows one mic/line input and two stereo channels...
this would be more useful for DJ'ing or running sequencer/
synths. Besides, looks cheesey, I'm not familiar with Phonic.
I'd go with a small Mackie first... but yeah, that mixer is the
kind of thing you'd need. Have you already got any of this
kit yet? Not sure if the Phonic can take a mono input... does
it pan? You probably don't need a stereo mixer, anyway.
