What's in it for them is profit. That tends to come before political
ideology.
If the majority of the nation (i.e., the intended audience) is either
conservative or moderate, and if the sponsors are also conservative or
moderate, where's the profit motive in advocating liberal viewpoints?
Especially given that the media divisions of these huge corporate
conglomerates are just a portion of what they do.
