Look, I know you and I have different perspectives and that we'll
never agree on this, but I really don't understand where this view
comes from. To me, Kennedy and Johnson (and yeah, I was around then)
were much more liberal presidents than Obama is. If you read some of
the liberal blogging sites, they're all pissed at him for "selling
out".

Dunno. Many consider Abe Lincoln as one of the
first that sold out when it comes to bankers, etc. :/
Johnson has plenty of big schemes for his "Great
society", but the war kept him busy.

Kennedy? He was a great one at spending other peoples
money. A true professional. I think most all the Kennedy's
were/are quite gifted in that regard.

JFK was well known for never carrying a bit of cash on him.
He'd hit up all his friends and lower office peons for cash,
and never pay it back. I have no doubts he would have no
qualms running the country the same way.
The Kennedy's were so danged cheap they would buy
new clothes, wear them once, and then return them to
the stores demanding a refund. No matter that they were
dirty, stained, and un-sellable..
Mrs. RFK was a noted pro in that regard.
Actually quite legendary among some shop owners. :/

And these are freakin millionaires..
It's like I said in the "radio czar" post.. Liberals
can be such cheap ass pikers sometimes..
Have millions, but too dang cheap to start their
own radio programs. They want the gov to pay for it all.
It would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic.

The presidents are only puppets.
They all get yanked to and fro by the real power
brokers which are the few that hold the most $$$$$$$$
in this world.

And most of those people are conservatives, so this claim makes no
sense to me.

George Soros is a conservative? Okee Dokee..

I said most, not all.

But see, here's where it gets fuzzy.

"Libs" suggest that there's too much money involved in campaigns,
whether it's from wealthy individuals or corporations. So they suggest
doing something about it. But conservatives screech about "free speech"
as if money has anything to do with speech, and any further action stops
right there.

Odd, huh?
