Desolder and discard the bit of board. Scrape the traces and
tin about 1/4" of them... use thin stranded wire to jump to
the pot terminals. Don't drill any holes.

Make sure that dumsht seller gives you a %90 refund
before doing any of this... or send it back and make
him eat it, piece by piece, on YT... and send us the link.
