Anyone have experience with Frenzel amps? Jim seems to be a real stand-
up guy and the Harmony Central reviews are good (but I take them with
a grain of salt), but I would like the gurus opinions. I'm very
seriously considering the FM-800Z "Rocker 800" preamp. Here's the link

When he was just launching the business, I purchased something from him on
eBay (a used/junker chassis). We exchanged email a bunch of times and he
impressed me as not only a nice guy, but someone who knows what he's doing.
I believe he is a retired electrical engineer who made a second life
building guitar amps. I don't think you can go wrong with his stuff,
provided it's what you want.
