Considering the corruption-fest we witnessed the past eight years,
with a string of (mostly Republican) federal lawmakers under
indictment or in prison, it's hilarious that you'd act as if
corruption is something that just now came to Washington. I think
all dirty lawmakers and their cronies be locked up, Democrat or
Republican makes no difference to me. Did you express disgust when
Abramoff and Cunningham and Stevens were getting busted for bribery
and influence-peddling and tax evasion? But now you're suddenly
outraged over these other guys not paying all their taxes. When
you're outraged over *every* federal politician who cheats or scams
the public then you'll be on solid moral ground. But so long as you
care only when it's a Dem who got caught, then you're still just a
hypocrite.



As always, when one of the Enlightened Saviors is caught with their
hand in the cookie jar, misdirection is an effective defense.
