Looking at the pics you posted earlier, it looks like you connected C6
(coupling cap from second stage to PI) to the wrong side of the plate
resistor R12.

Great catch. I willing to say, this was a bonehead thing to do. I would
have got it eventually, but it would have been 3 days and six times going
over the amp. Just one of those things.
I now get a hum when I touch the cord and all seems to be operational.
