LOL! Good point! I guess tone is more important than tube life. Its not like I cant afford the Siemens, they're just getting harder to find. Maybe I'll just bias with my ears and eyes. If it sounds good and no red plates, I'm good.

If this were my amp, I'd bias for the tone I like. Playing guitar is kinda like getting laid. How do you like it? Long and cold or hot and quick. You choose. Why compromise? Life is short.
