Sure. Why not? I used to know a guy that owned his own tank.
He was a nerdy guy that was in ROTC, etc.. He owned his own
tank and he was in High School. Ain't crappin you negative..
I'm talking in a residential neighborhood too.
Also I know of a guy that recently rebuilt one.

I used to have a link with a lot more detailed pictures, but he seems
to have taken them off.
When he finished that tank, it was titled and licensed as a legal
motor
vehicle in the state of Texas. He said the owner didn't really want
to sell it, but that it would take at least $800.000.00 for him to
consider it.
One of those would be great for rush hour traffic. :)
