will snip it out of his reply. He continues, for instance, to claim that
I have compared myself (favorably) to McCoy Tyner, even though
he knows I've never done so. I've called him on it; he never replies.

recordings on Atlantic. But "Lord Valve" could hang in there, right?

So yeah, I'm calling you on that. If you think you could have played
with Coltrane's band, post your vid playing Giant Steps or Countdown
at tempo. Should be easy for you, given your claim that it is easier
to play fast than slow. Otherwise, dear old gasbag, you can forget
about accusing other people of making stuff up. <g>
