I have a Randall Cyclone that has recently developed a serious problem. I
first noticed it last night around midnight. When dimed, the cabinet
begins to rattle. This buzzing noise is unlike any amp rattle I've heard
before, and believe me, I've heard some rattles in my time. It doesn't
seem to matter what "note" is played, it rattles on all of 'em. It's hard
to describe the sound of it, but the closest thing I can come up with is
that it sounds pretty much like the death-rattle of Repbulican
Conservatism. Boom.
Believe it or not, the first thing to try is another
cabinet... political affiliation not important.
Either you have a blown speaker, a loose
speaker or other part, or the amp is hosed.
