BP02285 is a model 6G6-A from March 1962, Fender build date code (LC).
No question that it would have originally been covered in rough blonde
tolex. Power trannie 125P7D 606213 (13th week of 1962), Output trannie
125A13A 606202 (2nd week of 1962) and choke 125C1A 606117 (17th week
of 1961).
This amp was built a couple of years before Black tolex was used by
Fender.
