You seem to get the facts a little mixed up, so I'll help you out. It
was alledged that Clinton lied about "sexual relations" in the Jones
deposition, and this claim probably would not have stood up in court.
have never be proven that he lied in this depoistion. However, he did
not lie to the grand jury about this issue, because he admitted that
the had relations with Lewinsky but he also denied that he perjured
himself during the deposition. Perhaps I should also add the the
Jones case, which started the whole impeachment thing, was thrown out
by the judge. Clinton was rightly punished for his bad deeds. The
founders did not intend for matters like this to be impeachable
offenses. Also, perhaps I should remind you that Clinton was
acquitted in the end.

You know that the whole Monica & Jones investigation was a complete
overstepping by Starr. You know what if the Democrat's had done this
to a Republican, you would have called foul.

It's nice for the Democrats that this indictment came down
just before the upcoming elections.
The Democrat's did this now did they? Last time I knew, the Repub's
were in charge of the Justice Dept. And that's your standard line
isn't it - that the cases always come before an election. But since
we have elections every 2 years, the chances of one of these cases
coming up is pretty good. They've been watching Stevens for a long
time - long before this election.
