Others have tried conversing with him rationally, me included, all I got for my efforts is a look into a mind in which reality is whatever Marc says it is and nothing is *ever* Marc's fault. If he posts revolting sewage it's because someone else somehow made him, if he posts threats it's really just humor, if he carries on endless flame wars it's because someone was rude to him when he first showed up however many years ago and they have to back down before he will and so on -- but it's *never* his fault.


I'm going to go with Gladys Bates at this point.

I don't know that I'd agree with that entirely! There have been guys who've stayed clean and out of the OT muck. I just never took any punk-assed lip off of you or anyone else. I'll say this, your taking baby steps toward a mea culpa in this post is acknowledged, however, and certainly, as I explained ad nauseum in an earlier post to Don E., my strategy and tactics took form in AGA w/ good reason.


But there is one guy whose name is way out in front in that regard, whose record is unmatched both in sheer quantity and dare I say it in the depths he's been willing to plumb.


OK- you're starting to backslide here- Leave william, claude, and any number of those inclined to share your pre-hypocrisy / pro- 'W' neocon views out of this. This isn't about them.


By this point whatever explanations, excuses or justifications he produces are so shop-worn and stale as to be worthless. So believe whatever portion of his latest fable you please, just don't be too shocked when he lives down to his reputation tomorrow or the day after, because he always has.
